We were very impressed with the new Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort. From its beautiful entrance to its pool side ocean views this hotel is a jewel of Hawaii. The spa and fitness center, oceanfront Crystal Blue Lounge with its evening manta ray watch, water activities (including the longest waterslide in Hawaii), golf and tennis make this one of the top on our list of Hawaii vacation spots.

Oceanfront hotel with easy access to Kahaluu Bay for wonderful snorkeling and swimming. Beautifully landscaped tropical grounds. Enjoy all the amenities of the wonderful Keauhou Beach Resort: oceanside dining, tennis, room service and much more.

Courtyard by Marriott King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel is located in Kailua-Kona Town and is an easy walk to shops and restaurants. One of the few resorts located on a sandy beach (the beach is not very large). Reasonably priced.

Hi Patti,
I meant to contact you sooner but it was tough getting back in the swing after such a relaxing time in Hawaii.
I am so glad that [our friend] Gina gave me your number. We had the best time in Hilo and Kona and there were no snags, no lost paperwork or anything lost. You did a great job in securing our needs in such a short time.
We met with the coach of Hilo University and after my son saw how nice the campus was and the surroundings which he commented that it reminded him of the hominess of Sacramento he was convinced this is where he wanted to finish his schooling so he told the coach that he will accept his offer and return in August to attend school at the University of Hilo at Hawai'i.
We were then able to enjoy the rest of our vacation in Kona at the ROYAL KONA RESORT. We did upgrade our rooms there for a mere $32.00 per night for a full ocean view which also gave us the opportunity to watch the Luau from our third story balcony.

The only thing that was inconvenient was the plane seat locations….they have no mercy for tall people because each of us are over 6'2" and on the way over we managed to change seats to the emergency exits but on the way back we were put in the very last row which doesn’t' have hardly any space and seats that don't recline not to mention the traffic to the bathrooms…but I have
learned because it has been quite a while since we had flights of that length. I would like you to put on our profile that if possible we can obtain seats for tall people which I have learned is in the bulk head area or the emergency exit rows which we are willing to perform the tasks required for sitting there to be comfortable.
It was funny when we went to rent our "economy" car from Dollar Rentals. The guy looked at all of us looming over the counter and suggested that we upgrade to a midsize and we ended up getting a 2011 Ford Taurus! that was really roomy and gas efficient (being that the gas prices over there are much higher like $4.45 in Hilo and $4.62 in Kona so that was not extremely expensive either.
Otherwise, we had a vacation to remember and pictures to prove it. We want to thank you for making us feel like we were going first class. I will save up some more money during this summer when maybe we can stay longer.
I will be in touch and am letting everyone who inquires that we had the best travel consultant ever. I also thanked Gina for referring you to me---you took all the other worries out of the trip. BIG HUGE THANK YOU!!!!
Please use our experience on the website....thanks again and we will be in touch soon.
Mahalo! (I am now stuck using Hawaiian phrases..lolol... :)
Kathy
